This privacy policy explains how Vexio CreatorHub ("Vexio", "CreatorHub", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who we are
Vexio CreatorHub is a mobile application operated by The Way Ltd. We provide a marketplace and messaging platform where content creators (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, Snapchat creators) can connect with small businesses for promotional services. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information.
Information you provide directly
- Account details: name, email address, date of birth, profile photo, bio
- Sign-in credentials managed by Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In (we do not store passwords)
- Listings you create: title, description, prices, categories, photos
- Messages you send to other users
- Reports you submit about other users or content
- Payment-related preferences (such as a PayPal username, if you provide one)
- Support requests and any other content you choose to share
Information collected automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone
- Usage data: screens viewed, features used, taps, session duration, crash logs
- Approximate location derived from IP address (city or country level)
- Push notification tokens
Information from third parties
- Subscription status from RevenueCat (which processes Apple In-App Purchases on our behalf)
- Authentication tokens from Apple or Google when you sign in
- Anonymous analytics from Firebase
We do not knowingly collect government identification numbers, precise GPS location, biometric data, health data, or financial account numbers.

- Create and maintain your account
- Display your profile, listings, and content to other users
- Enable messaging between users
- Process subscription payments through Apple and RevenueCat
- Send notifications about messages, follows, and account activity
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms
- Provide customer support
- Improve and develop the Service
- Comply with legal obligations
Legal bases under UK GDPR: performance of our contract with you, your consent (for marketing and optional features), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), and legal obligations.
4. How we share your information
We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.
With other users
- Your profile, display name, photo, bio, and listings are visible to other users of the Service
- Messages you send are visible to the recipient
- Reports you submit are confidential and not shown to the reported user
With service providers
- Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database (Firestore), file storage, push notifications, crash analytics
- RevenueCat — subscription management
- Apple Inc. — App Store payments, Sign in with Apple, push notifications
- Google Cloud — backend hosting
These providers process data on our behalf under contractual data protection terms.
For legal reasons
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vexio, our users, or others.
Business transfers
If The Way Ltd is acquired, merged, or sells assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance.
5. International data transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, including in the United States, where our service providers operate. When we transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved under UK GDPR.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.
- Account profile: until account deletion
- Messages: until either participant deletes their account
- Reports and moderation records: up to 2 years for safety review
- Crash logs and analytics: up to 14 months
- Subscription records: 7 years (UK accounting law)
7. Your rights
If you are located in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing
- Port your data to another service
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
You can delete your account directly inside the app from Settings → Account → Delete Account. To exercise any other right, contact us using the details in section 13. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Vexio CreatorHub is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews of our infrastructure. No system is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
10. Cookies and tracking
The mobile app does not use cookies. We use Firebase and similar tools to collect device identifiers and usage data, as described above. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads). We do not use third-party advertising networks inside the app.
11. Apple App Store disclosures
In line with Apple's privacy requirements, the following data types are collected and linked to your identity: name, email address, user content (listings, messages, photos), identifiers (user ID), and usage data. Data used for analytics and app functionality may be collected by Firebase. None of this data is used for tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you inside the app or by email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
